For the protection, comfort, and health of your pet(s) and your peace of mind, we put the following policies in place. We will charge the standard fee for any service we provide during your pet’s stay. Thank you for your help and consideration in providing quality care for your pet(s). By signing below, you are acknowledging that: Deposits during high demand seasons: There are certain times that PetStreat reaches full capacity due to the holidays and vacation time. During those times, PetStreat requires a $50 deposit at the time of reservation in order to guarantee the reservation. This deposit ($50) will be applied toward the reservation when your pet’s stay is complete. We understand that plans can change, so will refund or credit the $50 deposit with a 72 hours advance notice. NOTE: If you cancel in less than 72 hours of the reservation OR if you do not check-in on the scheduled day (no show) then you will have forfeited the deposit. Drop-off and Pick-up: Scheduled drop-off and pick-up times occur during regular PetStreat lobby hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:30pm Saturday 9:00am-1:00pm. Check-out is before 1:00pm, with an additional day of boarding charged after 1:00pm. Immunizations: For the safety and protection of all of our guests, we require the following immunizations. Any booster series must be completed at least 3 days prior to the first day of my boarding reservation. Requirements for dogs: Rabies, DHLPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza and Parvovirus), Bordetella, & Canine Influenza H3N8 and H3N2. Requirements for cats: Rabies and FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis Calicivirus, Panleukopenia) Feline Leukemia is recommended, but not required. I will inform TSAH PetStreat if my cat has tested positive for AIDS or Leukemia, so that the PetStreat staff can take precautionary steps to prevent spread to other guests. In order to avoid any last minute surprise, please provide a copy of your pet’s immunization record prior to check-in Feeding: We feed our guests Hill’s Science Diet Sensitive Stomach Adult Formula. If your pet requires a special diet, we encourage you to provide the food along with feeding instructions. If a special diet is pulled from TSAH stock for my pet(s), my account will be charged accordingly. Personal items are welcomed to provide comfort, but please consider: TSAH PetStreat will clean soiled bedding, toys, and personal items. I will not bring any item whose loss would upset me or my pet(s) as they could become lost, damaged, or possibly discarded for hygienic reasons. External Parasites: Upon arrival, if TSAH PetStreat finds my pet(s) to have fleas or ticks,, the staff will treat the condition and charge me accordingly. Guest comfort and minimizing stress: Some pets find boarding especially stressful and can exhibit symptoms such as diarrhea or coughing, sneezing, sore throat from excessive barking. Please discuss with us if your pet has a history of these symptoms or if you think that supplements and/or medications to help with anxiety during the stay would be beneficial. It is our goal to minimize these occurrences, but sometimes treatment of these symptoms may be indicated. If indicated, the PetStreat staff will contact me and discuss the treatment plan prior to administration. Playtimes: Our guests are taken outside for regular exercise and potty breaks, but we have optional additional 10 minute, one-on-one playtime sessions throughout the day available. If there are multiple pets from the same household staying with us, we do offer a price break for each additional pet per shared playtime. Medications: PetStreat staff is trained to administer and/or apply medications, so that health concerns are minimized during their stay. The PetStreat staff can discuss the cost of managing and administering treatments based on your pet’s needs and regimen. Unless a pet is non-cooperative, TSAH does not charge for administering supplemental medications like heartworm prevention or vitamins. Medical Needs/Concerns: Because PetStreat is associated with a hospital, there is a medical team on call should any health concerns develop. Should a condition develop, the hospital team will attempt to contact you or your emergency contact. For the well-being of your pet, if we are unable to make contact, we will follow your preference as indicated on the addendum. Other potential fees: PetStreat understands that staying away from home can affect your pet’s routine. We are prepared for routine outside time and potential cleaning messes. There will be an advanced care fee per day for pets whose excessive indoor urination and defecation habits become a hygiene issue. This fee covers extra exercising, bathing, kennel cleaning, and laundry costs. Complimentary bath: PetStreat at TSAH offers a complimentary bath and towel dry to all dogs who have stayed with us for three nights or more. Please let our PetStreat staff know if you are interested in additional grooming services to be completed at bathtime. In order to do our best to have your pet clean, it is important to schedule a pickup time. Pick-up: In order to facilitate your pet’s readiness, please adhere to your scheduled pick-up time. Because we are bathing and oftentimes performing other services to ready your pet, please notify PetStreat of any changes regarding pick-up dates and/or times within 24 hours of originally scheduled pick up. All payment will be due upon pick-up. This will include all boarding charges and services and any treatments as authorized by you on the addendum. Abandonment: If I leave my pet(s) with TSAH beyond the scheduled pick-up date, and I have failed to notify PetStreat within a 10-day period, I have abandoned my pet(s) per Texas Occupations Code 801.357 and the pet(s) become the property of TSAH. I am not relieved from paying for all costs of services and use of hospital, including the cost of boarding.
